Alex brings twenty years experience designing software solutions in the enterprise, start-up, and academic sectors. Alex co-founded the open source project Brooklyn (http://brooklyncentral.github.com) and is actively involved with other open source projects (OpenStack Heat, jclouds, Whirr) and standards groups (OASIS CAMP & TOSCA) in the area of application management. He co-founded Cloudsoft Corporation in 2009, where he currently serves as CTO. Prior to Cloudsoft, Alex was with Enigmatec Corporation where he led the development of what is now Cloudsoft's Monterey Application Fabric, and previous to that, he founded PocketWatch Systems to commercialise results from his doctoral research...
