I started a freelance web development company because I love design and have a lot of fun learning new things. This has been a great way to build skills I'm not exposed to in my day job. So far I've sold, designed, and built 8 websites for clients and additional sites for friends.
One of the highlights of my work at MediaSpine was presenting at WordCamp Boston 2012. My talk was entitled “From PSD to Wordpress Theme: Bringing Designs to Life”. I showed, step by step, how to slice and export a PSD, then reassemble it as part of a WordPress theme.
