Intro to Drupal Migrate for Site Builders

We start most Drupal projects by looking at content: What content needs to be displayed on the website? How does it need to be organized? What's the content strategy? In this session, we'll look at how to get your content into Drupal using the powerful migrate module. We'll look at an easy example using the GUI for importing content from another Drupal website. We'll also look at a more advanced example of pulling content in from a CSV file. We'll look at some working examples from Drupal 7 and also explore how this will work in Drupal 8.

jQuery is a fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library that makes HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax interactions much simpler. It works across browsers and supports DOM element selection, traversal and modification, events, effects, animations, AJAX, and extensibility through plugins. jQuery can be included via a JavaScript file link and has utility functions prefixed with $ as well as chainable command functions accessed via $.
