This document discusses the design of a SEPIC converter to provide constant output voltage from a photovoltaic system despite variations in temperature and sunlight intensity. A SEPIC converter was chosen because it can maintain the same output polarity as the input voltage. The SEPIC converter was designed with an 11V-20V DC input and 14.25V DC output. Simulation and hardware testing of the system confirmed that the SEPIC converter could effectively regulate the output voltage even as environmental conditions and load changed. The system uses a microcontroller to control the LCD display and implement PWM techniques for voltage regulation.
