I’m familiar with development environments under both Linux and Windows, such as Rstudio, eclipse, Qt, Visual Studio, MATLAB, etc. Currently, my research interest lies in data compression, GPU based high-performance computing (HPC), and Data sharing and privacy protection, distributed arithmetic coding and JPEG lossless image compression (i.e., JPEG_LS). My research work involves C/C++ programming in Visual Studio with mixed coding in MATLAB. Improving the algorithm performance by utilizing HPC is also one of my interests. Based on CUDA environment on NVIDIA GPU, I have developed a novel parallel merge sort algorithm, and a parallel implementation of the distributed arithmetic coding, whi.
