We visited several important landmarks in Buenos Aires on the second day, including the Argentine Congress building constructed in the early 20th century with Italian walnut, oak, crystal, and marble. We also saw the Plaza de Mayo formed by merging two squares, the Cathedral built between 1752-1852 without towers in a classical Greek style, and the famous Recoleta Cemetery where many important Argentines are buried under a Greek column entrance. Finally, we toured the Teatro Colón opera house considered one of the top 5 concert venues worldwide with seating for 2,487 people across 7 levels.
