Cooperation with relevant EU institutions is needed More attention - to erosion protection measures effective for soil moisture Lessons learned and transferability

IDMP CEE Final Workshop; 21-22 April, 2015, Bucharest, RomaniaApril 20158 www.gwpcee.org •Obtained results will be used for the preparing of the project files for local authorities for the implementation of the strategy on ClCh and rural development for the period 2015-2020 •National events during 2015-2016 to assist to rural authorities in planning of the water infrastructure and erosion reduction measures in Dniester river basin •Main follow up: evaluation of risks and mapping of the risk zones based on erosion, moisture content and other indicators •Consultation meetings with rural authorities and development of proposals for local agendas on drought management, moisture conservation, erosion reduction, crops rotation and use of irrigation •Main aspect for continuation of the activities risk management in case of droughts and development of relevant proposals, methods for estimation and evaluation, EU experience etc Follow up (MD)
