Louvain-la-Neuve Science Park in Wallonia, Belgium was established in 1971 on 231 hectares of land near the new University of Louvain to drive economic growth through innovation. It is now home to over 270 companies in sectors like life sciences, engineering, chemicals, ICT, and green tech that employ over 6,400 people. The Science Park aims to serve society through its close relationship with the university and dynamic innovation ecosystem within a 2 km radius of Brussels. It continues expanding its international partnerships, such as with the China-Belgium Technology Center, while improving its model to secure future success.
