A neighbor's house was broken into and everything was stolen. Mr. and Mrs. White were questioned by an inspector about what happened. Their stories did not match - Mrs. White said Mr. White went to the kitchen for water, while he said he went to make tea. Mr. White also could not provide details about who he went to help. The inspector became suspicious that Mr. White was not home during the break-in. At the end, Mr. White confessed that he had lied - he had actually gone to see his mistress, but found she had deceived him and run away with their money.

- 1. Yesterday night somebody broke into our neighbor’s house. He stole everything he found. They saw him while he was running away but they couldn’t catch him.
