Adaptive weight factor estimation from user review 1

ITA: The Improved Throttled Algorithm of Load Balancing on Cloud ComputingIJCNCJournal Cloud computing makes the information technology industry boom. It is a great solution for businesses who want to save costs while ensuring the quality of service. One of the key issues that make cloud computing successful is the load balancing technique used in the load balancer to minimize time costs and optimize costs economically. This paper proposes an algorithm to enhance the processing time of tasks so that it can help improve the load balancing capacity on cloud computing. This algorithm, named as Improved Throttled Algorithm (ITA), is an improvement of Throttled Algorithm. The paper uses the Cloud Analyst tool to simulate. The selected algorithms are used to compare: Equally Load, Round Robin, Throttled and TMA. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm ITA has improved the processing time of tasks, time spent processing requests and reduced the cost of Datacenters compared to the selected popular algorithms as above. The improvement of ITA is because of selecting virtual machines in an index table that is available but in order of priority. It helps response times and processing times remain stable, limits the idling resources, and cloud costs are minimized compared to selected algorithms.

ADAPTIVE SENSOR SENSING RANGE TO MAXIMISE LIFETIME OF WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK IJCNCJournal Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is commonly used to collect information from a remote area and one of the most important challenges associated with WSN is to monitor all targets in a given area while maximizing network lifetime. In wireless communication, energy consumption is proportional to the breadth of sensing range and path loss exponent. Hence, the energy consumption of communication can be minimized by varying the sensing range and decreasing the number of messages being sent. Sensing energy can be optimized by reducing the repeated coverage target. In this paper, an Adaptive Sensor Sensing Range (ASSR) technique is proposed to maximize the WSN Lifetime. This work considers a sensor network with an adaptive sensing range that are randomly deployed in the monitoring area. The sensor is adaptive in nature and can be modified in order to save power while achieving maximum time of monitoring to increase the lifetime of WSN network. The objective of ASSR is to find the best sensing range for each sensor to cover all targets in the network, which yields maximize the time of monitoring of all targets and eliminating double sensing for the same target. Experiments were conducted using an NS3 simulator to verify our proposed technique. Results show that ASSR is capable to improve the network lifetime by 20% as compared to other recent techniques in the case of a small network while achieving an 8% improvement for the case of a large networks.

Application of smart antenna interference suppression techniques in tdscdmamarwaeng This document discusses the application of smart antenna interference suppression techniques in TD-SCDMA systems. It first provides background on TD-SCDMA and smart antenna technology. It then describes two adaptive beamforming algorithms - LMS and RLS - and simulates their performance at interference suppression in MATLAB. technique for supporting high-rate, short-range, and low-power communication. In this paper, using
detailed models of typical IR-UWB transmitter and receiver structures, we model the energy
consumption per information bit in a single linkof an IR-UWB system, considering packet overhead,
retransmissions, and a Nakagami-m fading channel. Using this model, we minimize the energy
consumption per information bit by finding the optimum packet length and the optimum number of
RAKE fingers at the receiver for different transmission distances, using Differential Phase-shift keying
(DBPSK), Differential Pulse-position Modulation (DPPM) and On-off Keying (OOK), with coherent
and non-coherent detection. The increasing demand for wireless communication introduces efficient
spectrum utilization challenge. To address this challenge, cognitive radio (CR) is emerged as the key
technology; which enables opportunistic access to the spectrum. CR is a form of wireless
communication in which a transceiver can intelligently detect which communication channels are in

It proposes a structured sparse adaptive coding matching pursuit (SSA-CoSaMP) algorithm for channel estimation that exploits the space-time common sparsity of massive MIMO channels. The algorithm improves on dynamic sparsity adaptation and structural sparsity. It features threshold-based iteration control depending on SNR level. Simulation results show the proposed algorithm achieves better performance than traditional pilot-based estimation methods in low SNR and small pilot conditions, reducing pilot overhead and resource/energy consumption. Future work may explore structural sparsity in the virtual angle domain for massive MIMO antenna arrays.

It first uses the Taguchi method to determine that network size is the most influential factor on energy consumption. It then simulates RPL under different network sizes (10-50 nodes) and mobility scenarios. The results show that energy consumption decreases by 22.11% and throughput increases by 2.82% for smaller networks compared to larger networks. Therefore, optimizing network size can help reduce energy usage and carbon footprint to achieve more sustainable green wireless communication.

The HGS algorithm uses metaheuristic approaches to achieve optimal detection performance with low complexity. It aims to develop adaptive detection methods that have faster convergence speeds and require fewer parameters over time-varying MIMO channels. Simulation results show the HGS algorithm achieves better bit error rate than other detection methods like MMSE-MUD and GACE, with lower computational complexity. Future work could involve applying the metaheuristic approaches to systems using interleaved division multiple access or independent component analysis.

Volume 2-issue-6-2005-2008Editor IJARCET 1) Next Generation Wireless Networks consist of heterogeneous networks that support vertical handoffs between different wireless technologies. Vertical handoff decision making can be modeled as a multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problem that considers factors like bandwidth, cost, power usage, user preferences, and quality of service.
2) There are several existing vertical handoff algorithms based on MADM methods like simple additive weighting, multiplicative exponential weighting, technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution, analytic hierarchy process, and grey relational analysis.
3) The document provides a brief introduction and examples of vertical handoff algorithms that have been proposed using each of these MADM methods.

technique for supporting high-rate, short-range, and low-power communication. In this paper, using
detailed models of typical IR-UWB transmitter and receiver structures, we model the energy
consumption per information bit in a single linkof an IR-UWB system, considering packet overhead,
retransmissions, and a Nakagami-m fading channel. Using this model, we minimize the energy
consumption per information bit by finding the optimum packet length and the optimum number of
RAKE fingers at the receiver for different transmission distances, using Differential Phase-shift keying
(DBPSK), Differential Pulse-position Modulation (DPPM) and On-off Keying (OOK), with coherent
and non-coherent detection. The increasing demand for wireless communication introduces efficient

Future work may explore structural sparsity in the virtual angle domain for massive MIMO antenna arrays.

Early-stage topological and technological choices for TSN-based communication...RealTime-at-Work (RTaW) A main issue in the design of automotive communication architectures is that the most important design choices pertaining to the topology of the networks and the technologies to use (protocols, data rate, hardware) have to be made at a time when the communication requirements are not entirely known. Indeed, many functions only becomes available along the development cycle, and vehicle platforms have to support incremental evolutions of the embedded system that may not be fully foreseeable at the time design choices are made. The problem is becoming even more difficult and crucial with the introduction of dynamically evolving communication requirements requiring network re-configuration at run-time.
We present how the use of synthetic data, that is data generated programmatically based on past vehicle projects and what can be foreseen for the current project, enables the designers to make such early stage choices based on quantified metrics. The proposals are applied to Groupe Renault's FACE service-oriented E/E architecture with the use of the “Topology Stress Test” feature implemented in RTaW-Pegase.

- 2. SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: To Estimate the weight factors for quality of service Ambitlick Solutions parameter in VERTICAL HANDOVER MECHANISMS using Adjacent Pair Priorities (APP) technique.
- 3. ABSTRACT Estimating weight factors for QoS parameters plays an important role in the effectiveness of vertical handoff decision algorithms. Ambitlick Solutions A novel weight estimation technique, which can adaptively control the spanning of the weights in response to user preference. Our results show the supremacy of the technique against the state-of-the-art in achieving wider spanning of the expected values of all QoS parameters under consideration.
- 4. PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION: AHP based weight estimation is so far the most popular technique as it allows user to set relative Ambitlick Solutions importance between pairs of parameters using a fundamental linear scale
- 5. PROPOSE SYSTEM A novel weight estimation technique, which can avoid all the above mentioned limitations by allowing users to set relative priority for only adjacent pair of QoS parameters in descending order of priority and Ambitlick Solutions quantifying the relative priority levels using an exponential mapping with a user-defined exponent. Consequently, the proposed Adjacent Pair Priorities (APP) technique can adaptively control the width of the spanning of estimated weights to provide the ultimate flexibility for users to control the weight distribution.
