Aims & objectives of pakistan

• The Muslims identity was jeopardized when,
because of the Muslim empire’s weakness and
cunning leadership of East India Company
(December 31, 1600).
• After the War of Independence 1857, the
Muslims were deprived of their basic rights as
the Hindus were succeeded to prove
themselves innocent in the eyes of British.
• Muslims identity and culture were at stake.

• Political rights of the Muslims were snatched.
• Doors of new jobs were closed.
• Muslims were deprived of their jobs and
properties.
• In short the Muslims wanted to live their lives
on the basic principles of Islam and to perform
their religious practices freely.
Finally, by the continuous struggle of
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other
leaders Pakistan came into being on August 14,
1947.

1- Protection Of
Muslim Identity

• After the War of Independence 1857, the social
environment was totally changed.
• Hindus being major nation of the Subcontinent
were exploiting the rights and opportunities of
other minor nations by reserving all social,
political and economic opportunities of
prosperity for Hindus only.
• The sole aim of Hindus was to change the mind
set up of the Muslims and to re convert them to
Hinduism by absorbing them in their religion.
• Muslims of the Subcontinent wanted to regain
their glorious past by securing their separate
national identity, culture and civilization.

2- Protection Of
Life And
Property Of
Muslims

• After the War of Independence 1857, the
Muslims were maltreated by British and
Hindus.
• British government snatched jobs and
properties of the Muslims and the Hindus
were made the owner of their properties.
• Muslims properties were allotted to the
Hindus by British government and higher
ranks of government setup were granted for
the Hindus also.

• Hindus took the advantage of this situation
and started demolishing the Muslims
civilization, custom and culture.
• Muslims wanted to live their lives according to
the basic principles of Islam but the Hindus
stop them to perform their worships.

3- Salvation From
Economic
Exploitation Of
Hindus

• When the British government, cherish the
Hindu community with Muslims properties
and jobs. They wanted to deprived the
Muslims in every field of life. Hindus were
encouraged in the trade of shining nature, or
some factory, and that belonged to a Muslims,
they started cut throat competitions. After
being disheartened the Muslims had to leave
their trade.
• The Hindus were encouraged in trade as well
as commerce.

• The Hindus community was not contented
with the political rule, it was determined to
worsen the condition of minorities
economically in the Subcontinent and wanted
to take the revenge from the Muslims for
ruling over them. It had become impossible
for the Subcontinent Muslims to live with the
cruel Hindu community.

4- Protection Of
Muslims Culture,
Civilization, Art,
Literature And Urdu
Language

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and our
national poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal were a
strong believer of Hindu- Muslim unity but
with the passage of time, they had realized
that Hindus and Muslims could not live
together in a country because the Hindu-
Muslim conflict was not merely religious. It
was a clash of the civilizations of two nations
who had entirely different languages, culture,
art, literature and roots.

• The Hindus did their best to replace Urdu by
Hindi. Urdu-Hindi conflict (1867) has changed
the views of the Muslim leaders which are the
strong supporter of Hindu-Muslim unity. It
was not only the language conflict, it was the
cold war against Muslims.
• This conflict had put the Muslim leaders to
demand a separate homeland where they
allowed to live their life with freedom without
any fear.

Allama Muhammad Iqbal said:
‘‘India is a continent of human beings belonging to
different languages and professing different
religions. To base a constitution on the conception
of homogeneous India is to prepare her for civil
war. I, therefore, demand formation of a
consolidated Muslim state in the best interest of
Muslims of India and Islam. The formation of a
consolidated Muslim North West Indian state
appears to be the final destiny of the Muslims, at
least of North West India.’’

5- Salvation From
Hate, Prejudice,
Discrimination
And Extremism

• After the formation of Mahasabha and its
entrance in the politics, prejudiced
movements like Shuddhi and Sangthan were
born. Riots occurred here and there.
• On 27 March 1934, a Hindu-Muslim riot
occurred in Ayodhya, triggered by cow
slaughter in the nearby Shahjahanpur village.
The walls around the BABRI MOSQUE and one
of the domes of the Mosque were damaged
during the riots. These were reconstructed by
British Indian government. This incident had
given a warning to Muslims of the
Subcontinent.

• The narrow mindedness of the Hindu community
could be gauged from the fact that they still
believe in racism.
• Its cure was not other than the demand of their
separate homeland where the Muslims may
enjoy the peaceful conditions in a separate state
based on true Islamic principles.
• Therefore, the 1940s was the decade when
Muslims asserted their demand for separate
homeland more vigorously.

As the last Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W)
said:
‘‘There is no superiority for an Arab over a
non-Arab . There is no superiority for a
non-Arab over an Arab. There is no
superiority for a red(race) person over a
white person. Likewise, there is no
superiority for a white person over a red
(race) person, except for the piety and
Allah Almighty consciousness.’’

6- FEARLESS
PEACEFUL
ATMOSPHERE

• Islam is a complete code of life. Islam upholds the
golden principles of freedom, justice,
brotherhood and equality but as the Muslims
were living with Hindus for many years. They
were deprived of their rights gradually by
ignoring them consciously and unconsciously.
• They were treated badly by the Hindus as they
consider themselves superior to the other
people.
• Muslims of the Subcontinent demanded a
separate homeland, where they have freedom to
live their lives on the golden principles of Islam.

7- Establishment
Of Islamic State

• Establishment of an Islamic state was very
necessary for the Muslims of the Subcontinent
where Muslims were allowed freely to offer
their worships, and matters are decided on
the basis of sovereignty of ALLAH ALMIGHTY
not on the basis of discrimination of class,
colour, race and creed.
• Islam has a totally different and an ideal
concept different from western concept. Every
one is equal and no one is superior and
inferior to anyone on the basis of social status,
colour and creed.

On March 1944, Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah said:
‘‘Pakistan was created on
the day when first Hindu
accepted Islam in India.’’

• Creation of Pakistan was very important for
the Muslims where they could prevail the
Islamic principles and could perform their
worships without any obstacle.
The Muslims of the Subcontinent demanded a
separate homeland Pakistan where they could
implement the Islamic system practically as
they wanted a country where the ideal system
of Islamic democracy could be installed.
