AIRPORT LOUNGES
MAINTAIN THE PRESENTATION
AND CLEANLINESS OF ALL
DESIGNATED LOUNGE AREAS
AND BATHROOM
The passengers who use this facility have
high expectations and an eye for detail is
therefore essential in order to fulfill this
role to the standards expected. The duties
include general cleaning of the lounge area;
straightening the chairs and tables,
hovering and polishing etc. There is also a
children's area with a games and a seating
area along with a soft-play baby area which
will need sanitizing each shift. Cleaning of
the washrooms is also part of this role.
 To maintain the presentation and
cleanliness of all designated lounge areas
and bathroom
 Facilities to highest standards as per the
Management instructions.
 To ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently
and in a timely manner to the required
standards this is to include weekly and
periodical tasks as and when instructed.
 To interact directly and discretely with the
Airlines premium and First Class passengers
in a professional and appropriate manner.
 To dress according to the standards and
guidelines advised, and wear supplied,
clean and Ironed uniform garments at all
times when on duty to the standard advised
and shown in the Uniform guideline Photo.
 To only use products and equipment
supplied by or authorized by the company,
specifically for the job.
 Report and take necessary action for any
incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss,
damage, or other irregularities
 Ensure that the passengers dirty crockery,
glassware and cutlery & rubbish is
constantly cleared from their rabbles
 Ensure that the lounge seating area is clean,
sofa chairs and tables are arranged as per
the lounge plan, prior to the lounge
opening hours.
 Maintain lounge cleanliness during lounge
operating hours.
 Spot clean all cupboards, tables, desks, and
other furniture and fittings
 Vacuum recesses in upholstered furniture
 Dust all surfaces, fittings, frames, signage
and furniture below two meters
 Dust or spot clean all skirting’s
 Spot clean all walls, doors and paintwork
 Dust wall surfaces
 Clear and vacuum all carpeted areas paying
attention to corners
 Clean and polish all hard floor surfaces
 Clean and sanitize telephones and
computers as well as other Business Centre
equipment
 Dust ceiling air vents
 Empty waste bins, as necessary. Wipe clean
and/or replace bin liners.
 Vacuum the carpets to remove all obvious
soil, dirt and crumbs.
 Sweep and mop the tiled areas
 Clean and wipe the massage chairs and
sofas thoroughly
 Wash and clean all the vanity areas, shower
receptacles and toilets using approved
 Methods and cleaners
 Ensure the toilet bowls and shower rooms
are clean and dry.
 Clean shower areas immediately after
passengers have vacated so that they are
ready for the next guests to use.
 Ensure that an adequate supply of combs,
hand towels, dental and shaving kits is
displayed neatly at the vanity area at all
times.
 Replenish towels, as necessary.
 Top up the hand wash, hand lotion,
shampoo, shower gel and hair conditioner
dispensers on a regular basis.
 Clear the laundry baskets of used towels.
 Empty the garbage bins regularly.
 Ensure that the restrooms have a pleasant
and fresh smell at all times.
 Ensure that cleaning stores are kept clean
and tidy and equipment is stored correctly
and safely at all times.
 Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen by
sweeping and mopping the floors, wiping
clean the counters, etc.
 Empty waste bins and rubbish receptacles
and move to collection point.
 Wipe clean and/or replace bin liners.
 Keep pantry area clean and organized
 Previous cleaning experience
 Experience working to a cleaning schedule.
 Desirable
 Experience of extensive use of floor buffers
and heavy scrubber driers.
