  WGBH CONTRIBUTED FILES,TOO  Sent 10,648 video fi les to Crawford  Moved 201.6 terabytes over the network and onto 70 hard drives Success!

  THINK AGAIN . . .we had a 57% fai lure rate.  We learned the hard way that everyday IT operations are not good enough.  In the end: 26.4% failure rate

  HOW ARE WEGOING TO MAKE THIS STUFF AVAILABLE?  AAPB Rights Meeting among legal counsels. . .next week!  Preparation:  Identified categories of content within the collection  Identified programs within each category (pre-1964, 1965-1976, live and recorded music, pre-1972 recordings, news footage, outtakes, etc.)  Created 3 minute clips from those programs  Asked for legal documentation from stations  Gathered case studies from other archives on access  Gathered precedent cases and relevant copyright law
