The study investigates the antifeedant activity of Barringtonia asiatica (hutun) seed extracts against the caterpillar pest Plutella xylostella on sawi plants. Using a completely randomized design, it was found that higher concentrations (500 ppm and 1000 ppm) significantly reduced feeding by 27.80% and 40.93%, respectively. The research highlights the potential of botanical insecticides as an alternative to synthetic pesticides in pest management.
