Stock exchange is an organised market for
buying & selling of securities, here securities
are purchased & sold as per certain well
defined . rules & regulation. it provides
convenient & secured mechanism or plat form
for transacting in different securities .

1) Continous & ready market for securities :
Stock exchange provides ready & continous market foer
purchase & sale of securities it provides ready out let for
buying & selling of securities.
2)Encourage capital formation :
It accelerate the process of capital formation it creates the
habbit of saving investing & risk taking among the investing
class & converts there savings into a profitable investments.
3)Provides safety & security in dealing :
Stock exchange provides safety &securities in all the
transaction as transactions are conducted as per well defined
,rules & regulation fraudant practices are also checked
effectively .
4)Facilitates public borrowing :
Stock exchange serves as a plat form here marketing govt
securities it enables govt to raise public debt easily &
quickly.

It was Established in july 9 1875, BSE
(formerly known as Bombay Stock
Exchange Ltd.), is Asia's first & the
Fastest Stock Exchange in world with
the speed of 6 micro seconds and one of
India's leading exchange groups. Over
the past 140 years, BSE has facilitated
the growth of the Indian corporate sector
by providing it an efficient capital-raising
