Challenge • The client wished to update and change the content of its website as it was currently unable to send out relevant information to potential customers at the right time. Solutions Espire carried out the implementation of the CMS platform Drupal for the client to bring crucial customer value and support to the business. Case Study: Business Intelligence Espire optimizes Data warehouse for resolution of data overload issues of a global engineering conglomerate Challenge Solutions Tools & Technologies The existing BI Data warehouse (DWH) of the client involved multiple scheduled ETL data loads from source systems such as PRS and Workbooks. The main objective of DWH Queue optimization was as follows: The existing solution offered only one processing queue that received requests sequentially. • Software/Technologies: SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, SAP BO, Microsoft DTS and Analysis Services 2000. • Optimise the DWH loads to be more efficient and reduce the performance impact globally. • Make the DWH data more readily available and improve the process for business users by providing load prioritisation to complete their reporting on time.
