2. Install bearing (52) and Duo-Cone Seal Gp (51).
3. Install ring gear assembly (49) onto motor housing (50).
4. Use Tooling (C) to install nut (48).
5. Tighten nut (48) to a torque of 240 N·m (177 lb ft).

6. Raise the temperature of bearing (48A).
7. Install bearing (48A) onto shaft (45).
Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily
injury.
To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure
and wear protective equipment.
8. Install spring (45) and seal (47).

9. Install piston (43), shaft assembly (45), and rockers (44).
10. Install swashplate (42).
11. Install pistons (39), bearing (41), and retainer (40).

15. Install barrel (32), discs (33), and plates (34).

19. Install bearing (26) and port plate (25).

(145 ± 11 lb ft).

24. Install washers (16), coupling (17), washer (18), and setscrews (19).
25. Install bearings (14), gear (15), and gears (13).
26. Install retainers (12) and bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 33 ± 5 N·m

27. Install carrier (9) and washer (10).
28. Install bearings (7), gear (8), and gears (6).
29. Install retainer (5) and bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 33 ± 5 N·m (24 ± 4 lb ft).

30. Install cover (3), ring (1), and plug (2). Tighten plug (2) to a torque of 59 ± 10 N·m
(44 ± 7 lb ft).

1. Use Tooling (E) to install Duo-Cone seal (58).

2. Install bearing (59). Use Tooling (E) to install Duo-Cone seal (58).
3. There is a count of 132 balls (57). Install balls (57).
4. Install plug (56).

5. Install ring gear (54) onto motor housing (55).
6. Use Tooling (D) to install nut (53). The torque of nut (53) is 196 ± 9.8 N·m (145 ± 7 lb ft).
7. Install bolts (52) and tighten to a torque of 6 ± 2 N·m (53 ± 18 lb in).
8. Install springs (50) and seal (51).
9. Raise temperature of bearing (48).

10. Install bearing (48) onto shaft (47).

20. Install port plate (25), bearing (27), and pins (26).
Note: Make sure that port plate (25) stays aligned with dowel during assembly.
