Chester is undergoing regeneration across the city through key current projects including Northgate, Chester City Gateway, and City Place. Northgate is a new leisure destination opening in summer 2022 with a cinema, restaurants, cafes, public square, and parking. Chester Station Gateway is working to develop a regeneration framework and initial masterplan to unlock development potential. City Place Chester will involve further engagement, feasibility testing, detailed masterplanning, and establishing a delivery framework.

Spatial Masterplan Initial masterplan to develop and demonstrate the placemaking opportunity, understand the potential scale and scope of development potential, and to enable a cost and viability analysis to be undertaken to inform the emerging delivery strategy.
