1. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued guidelines for the question paper design for Class XII Mathematics exam in 2017. 2. The question paper will consist of 4 very short answer questions carrying 1 mark each, 8 short answer questions carrying 2 marks each, 11 long answer questions carrying 4 marks each, and 6 long answer questions carrying 6 marks each, for a total of 100 marks. 3. The difficulty level of questions will be distributed as 20% easy, 60% average, and 20% difficult. Internal choices will be provided within long answer questions worth 4 and 6 marks.
