- 2. Cluster Computing • A computer cluster is a set of loosely or tightly connected computers that work together so that they can be viewed as a single system. • Each computer that is connected to the network is called a node.

Components of Cluster Computer Architecture • Applications :Parallel and sequential application can be run on cluster. • Parallel Programming environment :this environment provide tools to work in parallel environment . • Cluster Middleware: it include : hardware, OS Kernal, application and subsystem . • Computers: e.g. PCs ,workstation . • High speed network switch :high performance switches are used for connection.

- 6. Load-balancing Clusters • Here workload is equally distributed across multiple installed servers in the cluster network.

High availability (HA) clusters or Failover Clusters • A group of clusters which ensure to maintain very high availability of data and services. • The purpose is to ensure that single instance of application is running on one cluster member at a time but if the cluster member is not available than application will failover to another cluster member
- 8. High performance (HP) clusters • This computer networking tactic use supercomputers and Cluster computing to resolve complex and highly advanced computation problems.
