The document presents a comparative study of meta-heuristic algorithms for localizing wireless sensor nodes in Internet of Things (IoT) applications, focusing on hybrid approaches like Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) and Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA). Experiments conducted show that the proposed algorithm achieves high localization accuracy with a low error rate and energy consumption. The manuscript also discusses the challenges of node localization in wireless networks and reviews various existing algorithms in this domain.
