Throughout its history, music has permeated the significant events of American
history. Its effect on American society and the way the American people cope with

Many people have different opinions on the delicate topic of the legalization of
marijuana for medical use. Although it could help those who suffer from
chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), cachexia, spasticity, pain and
rheumatoid arthritis, it also has a lot of negative side effects that many doctors and
physicians are trying to inform the public. Some of these negative side effects include
marijuana being very dangerous when it is smoked, although that s the most effective
way to ingest the substance, it dangerously raises the heart rate, can cause mental
illness, or even make current mental illness worse, and it is also considered to be
very addictive with withdrawal symptoms including irritability, sleeplessness,
decreased appetite, and drug cravings.

Weather was used as a literary technique throughout the novel of Thomas C. Foster. It
is not yet explained until the ninth chapter titled Its More Than Just Rain or Snow .
He begins with a very common line among stories; It was a dark and stormy night.
This ensures the same response from all readers. Rain can be used to add dramatic
effects to a scene which is why we all have the same negative reaction to the phrase.

The Similarities of Films Who does not love a great comedy film. I know that
comedy is my favorite genre. When thinking about comedies or comedians one
person comes to mind, Will Ferrell. In some people s opinion he is the best
comedian actor. Will Ferrelljust so happen to be in a comedy partnership with
director Adam McKay. McKay is responsible for over 20 films. There are three films
that I am particularly fond of The Other Guys, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy, and Step Brothers.

Ferrell are in a partnership and co write movies together. Adams movies tend to be

explores man s need for immortality. The script also explores the theme of machine
vs. man, as well as man s need to survive. The moral question of how far man
should take technology and play the role of God is also examined. These are solid
themes.
With that said, the script would benefit from more development. The opening sets
the tone for a sci fi thriller; however, the opening needs to be more visual to engage
the audience. There s a tendency to tell the story vs. visually show the action of the
characters. For example in the opening, it s not clear what type of animal the doctor
is experimenting with. It s not visual enough to understand how the animal is different
While the dialogue reveals some information about the characters, the dialogue also
tends to sound on the nose and un natural.
