Diana, Princess of Wales was born Diana Frances Spencer in 1961 in Norfolk, England. She married Charles, Prince of Wales in 1981 and had two sons, but they divorced in 1996 due to infidelity rumors. Diana was known for her charity work, including raising money for AIDS research and landmine removal in Angola. She tragically died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997 at the age of 36.
