Azure SQL Database (SQL DB) is a database-as-a-service (DBaaS) that provides nearly full T-SQL compatibility so you can gain tons of benefits for new databases or by moving your existing databases to the cloud. Amazon Web Services (AWS) are gaining popularity, and for good reasons. The Amazon Relational Database Service (AWS RDS) is getting a lot of attention, also for very good reasons. It is quite a compelling idea to have on-demand data services that do not require hiring DBA staff. The expectation is set that everything works like magic and will satisfy all of your enterprise database availability needs.
If you want to build high-volume, business-critical applications, possibly with geographically-distributed audiences, you really want to think twice about using RDS. Continuent customers have a large number deployments in AWS running MySQL on AWS EC2 instances and they choose to rely upon Tungsten Clustering to provide high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR). We also support multi-site/multi-master operations and offer true zero-downtime MySQL operations.

Kudu is an open source storage layer developed by Cloudera that provides low latency queries on large datasets. It uses a columnar storage format for fast scans and an embedded B-tree index for fast random access. Kudu tables are partitioned into tablets that are distributed and replicated across a cluster. The Raft consensus algorithm ensures consistency during replication. Kudu is suitable for applications requiring real-time analytics on streaming data and time-series queries across large datasets.
There are two main types of scaling: vertical scaling involves upgrading hardware on a single server, while horizontal scaling involves adding more servers. Before scaling, strategies like caching and optimizing queries can improve performance. When scaling databases, options include sharding data across multiple servers and using master-slave replication. Server scaling with microservices breaks applications into independent, communicating components. General tips for scaling include monitoring resources, auto-scaling with metrics, and killing instances to reduce costs when possible.

Cette approche est conçue pour tester les aspects d'une propriété qui doit toujours être vraie. Ceci permet de couvrir un grand éventail de valeurs d'entrées programmatiquement et de tester celles-ci en un seul test. Contrairement aux tests basés sur des exemples où l'on doit faire un test pour chaque exemple.
Nous couvrirons les outils requis pour débuter à utiliser les tests par propriété.
Nous construirons ensemble une suite de tests afin de démontrer la puissance de cette approche dans un cas réel.

It enables extending Azure management capabilities to physical and virtual servers anywhere while still using native server management tools locally.

For Finance, PowerBI helped with processes like intercompany reconciliation and ICFR testing. Internal Audit used PowerBI to analyze time and labor data from multiple sources to identify potential issues like unacceptable overtime rates. PowerBI provided dashboards and visualizations that improved analysis for both departments.
