U-verse with AT&T GigaPower Expansion:
Prepared for the DigiWorld Summit
November 18, 2015
Connecting more consumers, more businesses and more
communities to high-speed Internet.
• From 2009 through 2014, AT&T invested more than $140 billion, including investments in its wireless and
wireline networks and acquisitions of wireless spectrum and operations. And, since 2009, AT&T has invested
more in the U.S. than any other public company.
• As of 3Q 2015, we employed more than 283,000 people worldwide – more than half are union represented.
• Additionally, we have continued our commitment to connecting more Americans with strategic investments over
the last 4 years. In the last 4 years, we:
o Have expanded and enhanced our wireline IP broadband network to more than 57 million customer locations in our
wireline service area.
o Provide 99 percent of our customer locations in our wireline service areas with access to high-speed Internet through
either our wireline or 4G LTE networks.
o Have met our commitment to rollout our 4G LTE network to more than 310 million people – more than 99% of
Americans.
o Have deployed fiber to more than 900,000 additional business locations, with plans to reach 1 million by year-end
2015.
AT&T has a long commitment to connecting Americans and we’re working hard to deploy
the networks our customers demand.

*As described in the Master Network Development Agreement between AT&T and NCNGN.
These commitments and improvements can help secure investment:
1. Nondiscriminatory access, including terms, conditions and rates, to city rights-of-way/ utility easements (as
required by state law), infrastructure, poles, and other physical assets, including city-owned river/bridge
crossings.
2. Diligent and expeditious review of permit requests, no greater than 7 calendar day turnaround.
