Dynamics 365 is the hero brand of this product suite—and it occupies the largest central circle on the slide. Each Dynamics 365 functional area is outside of the circle. Surrounding Dynamics 365 is a symbolic data and intelligence layer, which supports Microsoft Power BI, Flow, and PowerApps. • #10: Signs that point to the need for an ERP system: Systems are disconnected and information is siloed – this is the most common problem facing small businesses. Many prospects will describe scenarios of having to copy/paste or rekey information multiple times, and accessing several different systems in order to complete a given process or task. Reporting is complicated and provides insufficient information - OOB reports are very basic and organizations often need to buy additional software (QlikView/Tableau) or configure existing systems/reports to get the deeper insights. Both of these are expensive, non-scalable and time consuming efforts. For example, the second a sales rep in the field makes a change to a customer quote, it gets reflected in the numbers being pulled for a forecast report back at the office. With more accurate information at your fingertips, decisions have a bigger impact on the bottom line. Functions like payroll, banking, and CRM systems are just as integrated, so your people can share the most current data and respond to customer requests faster with the most accurate information. Few examples include: 1.) With PayPal Payments Standard extension, users can pay invoices faster using a trustworthy payment service and without having to enter their credit card information on websites 2.) Yodlee Bank Feeds service allows users to quickly reconcile payments by linking system bank account to their online bank accounts 3.) Synchronize common data types such as customers, contacts, and sales information, and keep the data up-to-date in all locations. For example, the sales person can reference inventory levels (availability) from Dynamics 365 Business Central when they create a sales order.

The extension uses Azure AI to predict future sales based on your sales history to help you avoid inventory shortage. For example, when you choose an item on the Items page, the chart in the Item Forecast pane shows the estimated sales of this item in the coming period. This way you can see if you are likely to run out of stock of the item soonCollaborate across your organization and supply chain to make better and faster decisions. The Image Analyzer extension uses powerful image analytics provided by the Computer Vision API for Microsoft Cognitive Services to detect attributes in the images that you import for items and contact persons, so you can easily review and assign them. For items, attributes could be whether the item is a table or a car, and whether it is red or blue. For contact persons, attributes can be gender or age. Why it matters: Recommendations save time and reduce data errors  
• #26: Slide title: Predictions Key points: Subscriptions for Business Central come with access to several predictive web services in all regions where Business Central is available.  Create your own predictive web service based on a public model named Forecasting model for Microsoft Business Central. This predictive model is available online in the Azure AI Gallery Effectively managing receivables is important to the overall financial health of a business. The Late Payment Prediction extension can help you reduce outstanding receivables and fine-tune your collections strategy by predicting whether sales invoices will be paid on time. For example, if a payment is predicted to be late, you might decide to adjust the terms of payment or the payment method for the customer.

These may require data from many sources whether these are from cloud services, on-premise data, or business applications such as Dynamics 365. PowerApps and Power Automate provide integration via Connectors and Gateways that make it possible for organizations to get data out of services they are already using.

Add-On: - From a customer perspective, Add-on is a powerful feature that enables you as ISV’s and developers to extend Financial & Operations with addition capabilities build right into the experience the customer is used to and feel comfortable in. Commen scenarios are shipping, - Add-on’s are rather unique to businesscentral. Most competing systems stop at API’s, but we are taking this one important stop further!

• #38: Slide title: Security Slide purpose: Key points: Business Central Online uses Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) as the authentication method, which is automatically set up and managed for you. Data belonging to a single tenant is stored in an isolated database and is never mixed with data from other tenants. This ensures complete isolation of data in day-to-day use as well as in backup-restore scenarios. Furthermore, Business Central Online uses encryption to help protect tenant data: Data is encrypted at-rest by using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and backup encryption. Data backups are always encrypted. All network traffic inside the service is encrypted by using industry standard encryption protocols. We recommend that you use encrypted network protocols to connect to the PowerBI server and Business Central web services. Why it matters:
