End of corridor annotations
- 1. This button allows me to solo one track so I can work on it without worrying about editing the other tracks. It also allows me to listen to it on its own. I used these controls to adjust the effect on the audio to create the manipulation I made. I used two effects on this recording which made Sam’s voice come across deep pitched and dark. The effects I used were ReaVocode and Voxengo Boogex. The ReaVocode made the voice recording slightly deeper but when I added the Voxengo Boogex the audio clip went really deep. I liked the result I got as it didn’t distort the effect to the point where you can’t understand it but it give a realistic deep voice effect.
- 2. These are the control buttons and these allowed me to tweak the effect on the audio. When I added this effect It made my audio sound really mysterious by adding echo and fuzz. It sounds like a handheld transceiver cracking up and loosing signal. The more I tweaked the controls the more distorted, crackled, fuzzy and echoed the audio went. I would imagine this effect could be used in army related films or sci-fi for example I would imagine it playing a part in an alien invasion or aliens landing.
