This document discusses employee engagement and workplace health and wellbeing. It notes that UK employee engagement levels rank 9th out of 12 economies and that disengaged employees take more sick days. It then introduces an activity challenge program called Activity4Charity that encourages employees to walk 10,000 steps per day for 6 weeks to improve health, engagement and fundraising. Previous challenges saw increased activity levels, weight loss, improved team relationships and health benefits for participants. It provides an ROI analysis showing potential cost savings from reduced absenteeism and turnover.
