- 7. TOOL MANUFACTURING • In-house Tool room for routine maintenance of dies & fixture • As a policy new dies & fixtures are offloaded to the expert Die/tool makers from approved list of tool makers. This also Helps in simultaneously getting more than one die / fixture made • It is our endeavor to ensure that the tooling are the highest in quality & grade.

TESTING • In – house availability of all instruments for in process checking as per ISO 9002 requirements – including MITUTOYO gauges • For Chemical/Material/Special testing services of approved Testing Laboratories is utilized. • Periodic calibration of all instruments done from reputed testing laboratories. All test certificates can be provided on request.

Subject: Epsilon Engg.-Direct On Line Status Dear Mr I C Jha You are aware that Direct On Line supply of material is a key word today, It assumes a great significance from Quality & Quantity point of view. For getting DOL Green status, every component Must fulfill following criteria. •GR Rejection = 0 •LR PPM <500 ppm •Impeccable Field Performance •At least ISO 9000 certification •Availability of Latest PPAP documents Not fulfilling any of the above criteria, would automatically mean RED status for that component. A DOL Green status to the component would be prestigious and these components will not be subjected to inspection at Receipt stage. This would result into faster clearing of goods at receipt stage. % number of components supplied under DOL Green status is likely to be a new vendor rating criteria in near future. A component cannot be accorded a DOL Green status unless, Quality and consistency with which the Quality is delivered is assured through process approach. Even a minor flaw in Quality at receipt or Line stage would mean interruption in production which could lead to major loss under extreme conditions. Such situation would be undesirable from M&M as well as suppliers’ point of view as it could lead to NVAs and loss of opportunities.
- 13. MILESTONES We are pleased to inform you that following components supplied by you have been accorded DOL Green status based on above criteria. This is the culmination of adherence to Quality systems and Joint efforts from your team & M&M team. Now major challenge lies in retaining this status . This would require effective review mechanism, ruthless adherence to Quality systems and sensitizing all concerned. While retaining DOL Green necessary, the status reverting back to RED because of system non adherence or process violation would be viewed seriously even leading to invoking of Supplier Consequence Management System if necessary.
