About Farid Khavari He is not a politician, but an Economist (PhD) and also an accomplished author with internationally distributed books on economic, political, environmental and energy topics. “When the house is on fire, you don’t call in the plumber you call the firefighter, when the economy is tanking, you don’t call in a politician, you call in an economist”, states Dr. Khavari .
- 5. About Farid Khavari Born in Yazd, Iran, Farid grew up in India, where his parents helped establish Baha’i communities. His father was instrumental in purchasing the property of the Lotus Temple, which is seen as India’s second great splendor after the Taj Mahal. He returned to Yazd in 1952 to complete his studies before travelling north to the village of Liavole Oliya as an educator. He taught 60 students of all different ages how to read and write, and even helped the villagers build a school, maintain proper sanitation and secure clean water.

And I have an American solution.” Farid lives in Miami with his wife, Janilla, who is from Shiraz. They have a son, Armin, who attends Florida International University in Miami, and a daughter, Bianca, who attends the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Create jobs in giant numbers that are simply impossible under the present commercial banking system. Cut costs in half or more by providing low interest financing to Floridian homeowners and businesses. Use profits to benefit students seeking higher educations .

All qualified educators having secure jobs that are well compensated. Free higher education for the students in Florida. Financial incentives for teachers to pursue continued education. These goals will be achieved through the gradual reduction of the cost of tuition by lowering the interest rate to 2% on student loans, and ultimately making them free! It will be achieved using the profits generated from the Bank of the State of Florida.
