This document analyzes conventions used in six horror film magazine covers. It finds that all covers feature the masthead at top right, a dominant main image relating to the film's narrative, and typical magazine elements. Four covers use direct address to engage readers emotionally. Color schemes and repeated visual elements across magazines, posters and trailers help audiences recognize promotional material and understand the film's tone and world. The analysis shows how magazine covers effectively promote films through established conventions and cross-promotional consistency.
