computer setup…

 Toru Ichhihashi –the designer of pen pc.
 P-ISM(Pen style personal networking
gadget) System created in 2003,by tokyo based
japanese technology company NEC and first
featured at 2003 ITU telecom world held in
Geneva,switzerland.

 The entire job of a pc is distrubuted here among 5 different pens.
They are connected to each other via Bluetooth.
 Exchange signals via Bluetooth connection.

The functionality of the cpu pen is done by one of the pen. It
is the computing engine.
Dual core processor is used.
Works with Windows Operatying System.

 The role of monitor is taken by LED
Projector which projects on the screen.
The size of the projector is of A4 size.
It has the approximate resolution
capacity of 1024 X 768. Thus it is gives
more clarity and good picture.

 Based on Electronic perception
technology.
 The VKB emits laser on to the desk
where it looks like the keyboard having
QWERTY arrangement of keys i.e., it
uses a laser beam to generate a full-size
perfectly operating laser keyboard.
It uses IR sensor and camera as well
to analyse a keystroke.

Digital camera in the shape of
a pen.
Useful in video
recording,video conferencing.
It is 360 degree visual
communication device.
Also known as webcam.

 One of the pen connects the whole
device to Internet. It plays as a phone.
 This connectivity is done through
cellular phone function.

 Capable of storing several terabytes of data.
 A watch fitted with holographic
storage unit will backup your data.
 Wireless bluetooth technology
transfers data from pen pc to your
watch.

 The type of battery used here is lithium ion battery.
The use of lithium ion battery in this gadget will
reduce energy density, durability and cost factor.
 Battery life for normal use is 2 week.
