Land Acquisition at Dhabeji for FPCL
BackGround
• Acquisition of land was decided by the Management in year 2015
• Dhabeji area was selected with a target of 1200 Acre land
• Due to budgetary constraints purchasing was restricted
• Agreements were made with 8 Sellers for 294 Acre of land
• Registry was made of three plots
• Partial payments were made to some of the Sellers
• In 2016 Supreme Court cancelled all allotments in the area and
ordered for Reconstruction of records

Threats:
• DC has allotted around 40 Acre land within FPCL Site
• FPCL ownership does not exist since Reconstruction and regularization
not done for any of the portion of the Land
• Due to escalated market price the land is attractive for various interested
parties
• The Owners may approach the Court for the unpaid amount
• Due to the demise of some of the Owners, availability of original
documents is a difficult task
• FPCL may loose alongside the road prime land in case of no action taken
for settlement
