I was happy with the pair sharing because the students can explain ideas in ways that I may have never
considered, and their explanation may help other students understanding. In addition, there is a great
sense of classroom community discourse that occurs with this specific class, their level of respect for
each other is incredible. Our lesson activity had the students rotating around the room and performing
different word problems for about 4 minutes at each station. I think the students liked that they were
able to move around. Also the amount of time we gave them was challenging and fun, without making
it too intense like a drill. When we went over the answers to the problems we had students come
demonstrate how they got their answer on the whiteboard and discuss why they chose the
method/strategy they did, which was good because some other students were able to observe and
learn. My main regret from this lesson is having the activity answers discussed and displayed with
students at their desks and not the carpet. With this specific group they are so much more engaged

The clash of Zionism and Arab nationalism has led to the longest running conflict in the history of the
world that shapes the politics of the Middle East to this day. The roots of the modern Arab Israeli
conflict can be found in the rise of Zionism and Arab nationalism towards the end of the 19th century.
The source of the conflict is territorial claims over a small piece of land that is the historical homeland
for two different nationalities. Palestine has historically held great significance for the Jews. Zionism
transformed that religious attachment and made it into a basis for a claim onnational grounds that this
is their national home. This set them in potential conflict with another nationality, the Arabs, who

Octopuses and squids can swim in any direction and can alter their course quickly. Squids use fins
located on their heads to propel themselves when swimming at low speeds. These fins steer and

runoff and stream flow of a river (Davie, 2002). River response is the adjustment of processes during
rainfall events through infrastructure, the geomorphic and biological characteristics (Kang and

(0.75 minutes) than the rural catchments peak flow (1.00 minutes). From here, a sharp falling limb
occurs after the peak flows occurrence, with the urban catchments discharge dropping 520 millilitres
per minute, and rural catchments discharge drops 514 millilitres per minute. From 1.50 minutes both
catchments on the hydrograph have a steady decline, and plateau from 3 minutes until the completion
of the simulation.
