during the slavery period and after it. Many innocent Africans were taken from their home continent

system. Slaves faced many obstacles during the period of slavery, and after the Civil War when all
slaves were officially considered free. They were brought here against their own will, many died along

labor, separated from the families, typically working on farms/plantations. Farm life for slaves was
considered brutal, many worked long hours in harsh conditions, typically in severe weather, and
continuous labor with little time for breaks or rests. The death of many slaves was often linked to
slaves being overworked, along with the health risks that they suffered, usually caused by the
cultivation of cash crops such as tobacco and cotton. Even though slaves faced many obstacles in
America, they never lost a sense of the culture and tried to preserve as much of their traditions and

Another southern custom in my family is the unspoken expectation that nothing or nobody comes
before family. Though we are distant as a family when our family is involved everything else becomes
secondary. The last custom that my family places a huge emphasis on is the honoring and respect for
elders.
The last way I want to describe my family is as Christian. All of my family members are practicing
Christians. My father s side of the family has traditionally been Baptist, while my mother s side of the
family has deep roots in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Through doing this assignment, I
found out that my maternal grandfather was an AME pastor. Church has always been a pillar of my
family. As children, we had no choice but to attend church because it is what our parents felt was best
for us.
Now that I have offered analysis and reflection on the extended family field of my family system on a
macro level, I want to provide a microscopic look as it relates to individuals and individual
relationships within my family system. As previously mentioned my family tends to have a level of
homeostasis that is comfortable with distance and long periods of not interacting. This does not mean

Organization often looks the other way when making a decision regarding the process of their product.
A lot of money would be used for solving the social problems. Most of the time, there is limited
money for that. Technical also been used to solving problems. So, in order to avoid the limited of
resources, most of the organizations will possess the resources (such as money and expertise) needed
to tackle social problems.
Analysis:
My analysis is that is in order to solve these social problems, the environment will need to be cleaner.

When we think of crime today what comes to mind? The robbing of a gas station? Breaking and
entering into a house at night? Murder? While it is true that all of these are indeed forms of crime
there is another criminal component in today s world that does not get recognized as much as the
others. This is white collar crime. In white collar crime, the victim rarely sees the offender face to
face. Instead technology is used to create false financial statements and steal money from
corporations, individuals, or both.
Simply defined, white collar crime can be described as A nonviolent crime committed for financial
gain. White collar crime can occur in the form of securities fraud, embezzlement, money laundering,
and other illegal activities than generate financial returns outside of legal practices. In the extremely

From a young age, our generation has been told that all races, genders and religions are equal and
should be treated as so. I was fortunate to grow up around a diverse group of friends and could see
first hand the truth in that statement. Previous generations were never taught that all are equal. The
end of the previous generation was in the late 1960 s. This is around the time that blacks and all races
were finally gaining equality. Today, we don t rely on what values we learn as children so much as
what our friends and role models believe in. The use of social media has allowed anyone to put their
views into writing, and follow the views of others.
The neighborhood I grew up in was predominantly white. Those in the neighborhood who weren t,
also happened to be some of my best friends. The color of their skin didn t determine that. It was the
