This document discusses testing network load balancing with NFS file shares. It describes setting up two NFS servers behind a load balancer with a main and backup pool. When switching the load balancer from the main to backup pool, there is a latency of 30-60 seconds before clients are able to access files from the new server. While load balancing works, rapidly switching servers could cause client crashes. Alternatives like using Google Cloud Storage are suggested to avoid these issues.
