This research paper examines gendered inequalities in Zimbabwe's informal economy, particularly in Masvingo urban, highlighting the limited access women have to markets, credit, and education. The study employs qualitative research methods to reveal that women face numerous constraints across environmental, political, and social dimensions, relegating them to lower-value roles within the informal sector. The findings emphasize the need for gender-sensitive policies to improve conditions for women in this economy and promote their empowerment.
