- 2. Georgia O’Keeffe November 15, 1887 – March 6, 1986 Georgia O’Keeffe was born on November 15, 1887 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She was one of seven children. She was the second eldest child. When she was young, her parents put her and her siblings into art classes. The noticed that Georgia had a special talent and soon, she went to art school. Her nationality is American. Her type of painting was American modernist and focused mostly on nature. The type of mediums she used in painting was oils and watercolors. Georgia O'Keeffe was a major figure in American art in the 1920s. Her entire life was dedicated and expressed in artwork.

The skull is floating towards heaven and idealists have an orientation about gaining a deeper spiritual knowledge. - 4. Blue and Green Music To us, this picture looks like a time portal. Idealists focus the future, and this picture is very modern. This picture represents music, and Idealists are very expressive. - 5. Manhattan This painting has many different points of view and different angles. The idealist has a way of putting everything together and making it fit, even when it might appear not to. Nothing is strictly black or white and the many colors represent how Idealists are open to all thoughts. Idealists know that deep down inside, their ideas work the best, but that might not make that clear to other people because they don’t want to see argumentative or as know-it-alls. The spiral also represents the idealist looking beyond the bad parts and planning for the future. The bright white shell in this picture shows that idealists know that they can trust themselves, verses the dark background which shows other people who they might not be able to trust and become disappointed in. - 7. Horse’s Skull with Pink Rose Idealists like to study humanities. They want to know the truth about everything, for example, in this picture, Georgia drew a horse skull. Chances are she was wondering questions such as “How did this horse die?” or “Why was it here?” Idealists are very caring. They want everything to be treated equally and nicely. O’Keeffe was able to preserve this skull, and she also made it nice by putting a rose on it. She showed respect even towards an inanimate object. Idealists strive hard to be very authentic – they don’t want anyone else like them. Who else would put a flower on an animal skull? The many different directions in this picture show that idealists want peace and for everybody to get along in perfect harmony. This picture also shows stress in some areas when “everyone” doesn’t follow the loop at the bottom and they go on their own way verses following and creating harmony. - 9. Georgia O’Keeffe led the path for many American artists. She is proved to be just like an idealist through all of her artwork. Through her paintings, she expressed abstract ways of showing her emotions, just like idealists do. From a young age, she always was interested in artwork. She lived a very successful life and completed hundreds of paintings. By dedicating her life to pursuing her talents, she proved to resemble the idealists in the way that they always try to complete their goals. Conclusion
