The inaugural tournament kicked off at the Bird’s Nest National Stadium in 2010 with 14 competing teams from 6 different countries across the globe. In 2011, a total of 30 teams competed at the Great Wall Cup including 14 international teams from the likes of Brazil, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Australia, Taiwan, Mexico and Russia. 2
