IRF2 Benefits H3C Intelligent Resilient Framework 2 (IRF2) is a network virtualization Enhanced technology that virtualizes several Performance Easy physical switches into one logic Management switch. In a IRF2 system, the data plane and switch fabric of all IRF2 Fabric engines are active at the same time, thereby providing a multiplied + = Virtual switching capacity. Switching IRF2 members are connected by virtual switch channels (VSCs). VSCs use standard 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections (as many as twelve 10G trunk) between the IRF2 Multi-service members.
