- 2. Enterprise Introduction In Odoo, the sharing of product specifications with customers via Email is done with the concept of ‘Deliver content by Email’. The purpose of this feature is to streamline the communication and enhance customer engagement throughout the sales process. It allows us to send emails directly from the Sales module by saving the time and ensuring consistency in your messaging.
- 3. Enterprise To manage with this feature, let’s go to the Configuration settings of the Sales module and enable Deliver Content by Email from there under the Product Catalog section. It sends a product-specific email once the invoice is validated
- 4. Enterprise We also need to configure the outgoing mail server from the General Settings > Technical > Email > Outgoing Mail Servers menu after enabling the instance in the developer mode. So, upon the validation of the invoice, we just need to send the content to the customer. The content can be anything like the quotations, the warranty details, invoice detail. The next step is to do configure a setting in the product form also.
- 5. Enterprise Let’s choose any product as an example and open its form view to set the Email Template for Automatic Email at Invoice under the Accounting tab. This will allow us to send the automatic email to the customer when the invoicing is done.
