- 2. Enterprise Introduction In this slide, we’ll discuss on how to split Bills in Odoo 18 POS module. Splitting bills is a common scenario in the retail and hospitality industries, especially when handling group orders or shared payments. Odoo 18’s POS module offers a seamless solution for this with its bill-splitting feature. This functionality allows businesses to divide payments among multiple customers or allocate costs for individual items efficiently.
- 3. Enterprise To manage with the split bills feature, we can dive into the PoS module. We can click on 3 dots on the Restaurant point of sale and then on edit option to enable allow splitting bills.
- 4. Enterprise In the wizard opened, we can click on Configuration->Settings to get more settings.
- 5. Enterprise We can enable Allow bill splitting from the settings of the PoS module.
- 6. Enterprise After saving, we can open the point of sale by adding opening cash and then click on Open Register.
- 7. Enterprise From the plan, we can choose a table and start taking order.
- 8. Enterprise We can add products to the orderline by clicking on the products images.
- 9. Enterprise We have added two products to the orderline. To split the bill, first we can choose the customer by clicking on Customer button.
- 10. Enterprise From the window opened, we can choose the customer and after choosing the customer, we can click on Actions button.
- 11. Enterprise From the Actions, choose the split option to split the bill.
- 12. Enterprise From here we can choose the products and then click on Split order button.
- 13. Enterprise The order is now splitted and we can proceed with the payment by clicking on Payment button.
- 14. Enterprise Choose a payment method and then validate the payment by clicking on Validate button.
- 15. Enterprise The payment is completed and we can click on Continue button to proceed with the payment of remaining products in the order.
- 16. Enterprise We can choose another customer to pay for this remaining product and then click on Payment button to proceed with the payment.
- 17. Enterprise After choosing the payment method, click on Validate button to validate the payment.
- 18. Enterprise Now the payment is successful and the bill is splitted among two customers.
