payroll submodule features
→ 1- payroll submodule is one of the most important submodule for HR
→ payroll submodule features in Erpnext :
→ 1- have Payroll Entry function which has following characteristics :
• - processing of payroll for all employees in company or specific branch
department or also specific designation .
• - processing the payroll slips and bank details for employee.
• -automating all steps in payroll processing.

→ 2- have salary slip , Salary Structure and Salary Components
functions which has following characteristisc :
→ - help you deal with Additional Salary which could be Performance
Bonus, Deputation Allowance, Arrears or otheradustments .
→ - help to deal with Retention Bonus which give for employee in sitauation
such as :during a crucial production period.
→ - you can deal with Employee Benefit Application such as health
insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, and workplace perks are
common offerings used to recruit and retain employees.

→ 3- the ability to deal with :
→ - Employee Tax Exemption Declaration .
→ -Employee Tax Exemption Proof Submission.
→ -A payroll period, which is a period for which Employees get paid for their
occupation with the Company. Payroll period helps you define Tax slabs
applicable for the period, making it easier to manage changing laws. you can
define here multiple tax slabs .

activities and functions.

→ 1- you can setup all these organization sections :
a. Employment Type (Permanent, Temp, Contractor, etc).
b. Branch (if there are multiple branches)
c. Department (if any, like Accounting, Sales etc).
d. Designation (CEO, Sales Manager, IT MANAGER etc).
e. Grade (A, B, C etc, usually based on seniority).
f. Retirement Age and Max working hours against Timesheet .

Human Resource Setup module :
→ 2- Allow you to create Daily Work Summary Settings :
→ is a way to get a automated way to get a summary of work done by users.
→ Replies of all users who choose to respond is collected and sent as a
summary at midnight .
→ before you start tis feature , You must have one active incoming email
account setup for this to work or you will see this error message :
" There must be a default incoming Email Account enabled for this to work.
Please setup a default incoming Email Account (POP/IMAP) and try again."
