Primary PE and Sport Premium What is expected • Information on school website by 4th April • A plan, consulted with pupils, about how the grant will be spent and the expected impact • Governors to scrutinise the grant • A designated PE subject leader • CPD to increase teaching competency in PE across the school • Close monitoring of coaches teaching PE lessons

Primary PE and Sport Premium What is advisable Cover for PE subject leader to plan/ implement a strategy for PE and sport: Closely linked to whole school plan Cover three areas of PE, health and extra curricular Audit staff CPD needs/ informal lesson observations Meetings with SLT and governors Information regularly uploaded to website Buy new scheme of work Have the school site mapped by Ordnance to support OAA Buy new equipment and train teachers to use it CPD to up-skill existing staff: NOT PAYING FOR COACHES TO TEACH ALL PE Coaches/ consultants/ leading teachers should support staff over time (3 year cycle) Staff to attend specialist training (NGB or LA)
