- 2. INTERNSHIP PROFILE Company Profile Our company Global News Live & its subsidiary Parrot Labs mainly works on development of new web projects for various clients, both domestic and international. The company also strives for a strong social media presence and maintains various active YouTube news channels. It also handles promotional media projects for companies like amazon and uber . 2 Company Services Subsidiaries like Parrot Labs are working on developing a new platform for automated website creation with the focus on content creators and small to medium size YouTube channels. Our main tasks and efforts were all concerning the development and proper functioning of this platform.
- 3. INTERNSHIP TASKS We worked under the GNLs subsidiary Parrot Labs to develop a automated website creation and hosting platform which specifically caters to small YouTube channels. In which my tasks ranged from: ▰Creating web page themes for the platform. ▰Optimizing pages for mobile viewing. ▰Merging web pages to angular system. ▰Bug Testing and Fixing. ▰Updating Code Repository using Git Bash. 3
- 4. Components A basic overview of the various Components used in the web platform.

Front End Components These are some of the various components used to develop the front end of the automated website creation platform: 5 HTML/CSS HTML/CSS are the building blocks of any website repressing all the data and the various ways it should be stylized. JavaScript It is used to create basic logic processes used to perform various tasks on the user side while reducing lag. Bootstrap Bootstrap is a free and open- source CSS framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web development. CDNs A content delivery network is a network of proxy servers and data centers. The goal is to provide high performance avail. relative to end-users. Fonts & Icons Various fonts like Roboto and Font Awesome Icon sets were also used in this project for a very accurate styling.

Back End Components These are some of the various components used to develop maintain the back end of the automated website creation platform: 6 Angular Angular is a open-source web application framework led by the Angular Team at Google and by a community of individuals and corporations. Ubuntu Ubuntu is a free and open- source Linux distribution based on Debian. Ubuntu is officially released in three editions: Desktop, Server, and Core. Apache The Apache HTTP Server is free and open-source cross- platform web server software, released under the terms of Apache License 2.0. Maven & Java Maven is a build automation tool used primarily for Java projects easily. While Java being used to handle YouTube API. YouTube API The Data and Analytics APIs let your application access features and data normally available on the YouTube website. Git & GitBash Git is a distributed version- control system for tracking changes in source code during software development.
