Resume Tips Resume vs. CV? Your CV is a comprehensive list of ALL of your professional experience, education, publications and other accomplishments from college onward.  Your Resume is a  focused marketing tool  that  summarizes  &  PROMOTES  your experience and qualifications for the specific job/career you are applying for.
Resume Tips Develop a specific Objective Match it to the job that you’re applying for Be Positive & Dynamic “ To obtain a job as a Project Manager in the medical device industry” “ To further my career in a project management role that will allow me to utilize my knowledge and medical device experience in an organization where I can continue to develop and help achieve both the company’s and my team’s goals. Use Bulleted sentences that outline; Specific job duties and work functions Projects or Assignments Accomplishments  Technical skills used Match the job – utilize key words that were in the job description

The Phone Interview Preparation & Planning! If the time is inconvenient ask to reschedule when possible Find a quiet & comfortable area.  No kids, pets or TV Use a landline whenever possible Keep notes and Resume at hand List your strengths and weaknesses Examples that you want to touch on from your resume Write out any initial, relevant questions you have Practice interviewing (Family, Friends, Recruiter, Recorder) Schedule a prep & debriefing call with your recruiter
