What is Origin of ISIS?
You may have heard about ISIS referred to as IS, ISIL, or Daesh. All of
these acronyms describe the group in question.
 ISIS: Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was the name of the group
when it captured Mosul in 2014 and became the terrorist
juggernaut it is today. They named themselves that to assert their
dominance in Syria (more on that later).
 ISIL: Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (aka Greater Syria) is the
name that Obama uses to describe the group (pretty much only
Obama uses it). Superficially speaking, it is just a translation thing.
 IS: Islamic State is the name the group gave itself after a
"rebranding" effort when they wanted to show off their global
strategy (they wouldn't be limited to Syria and Iraq anymore).
 Daesh: You may have heard French President Francois Hollande
refer to the group by this name. This is essentially the Arabic
acronym of the group. People assume that using this word somehow
weakens them… it doesn't, because unfortunately in this case it is
one of those "sticks and stones" things.
THE ORIGIN OF ISIS
 2003
US invades Iraq which sets stage for ISIS
 2004
Zarqawi joined hands with Al-Qaeda and AQI is
formed
 2006
US kills Zarqawi in Airstrike
 2011
America withdraws from Iraq; Civil war in Syria
began
 2012
Baghdadi developed ISI in both Iraq and Syria
THE ORIGIN OF ISIS
 2013
Conquered city of Raqqa
 2014
Al-Qaeda rejected power graph of ISIS and split and ISIS
took control over Mosul
 2015
Their territory diminished
 2016
As of February 10 US & its allies have conducted 8216
strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria
ROOTS
Their roots basically come from the era of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and He warned us
about their future existence and their doings when He (PBUH) came across to such
people. While the Prophet was distributing something, 'Abdullah bin Dhil Khawaisira At-
Tamimi came and said, "Be just, O Allah's Apostle!" The Prophet said, "Woe to you! Who
would be just if I were not?" 'Umar bin Al-Khattab said, "Allow me to cut off his neck!”
The Prophet said, “Leave him, for he has companions, and if you compare your prayers
with their prayers and your fasting with theirs, you will look down upon your prayers and
fasting, in comparison to theirs.
Other Signs are,
 There will be men whose chest will be like the breast of a woman.
 These people will appear when there will be differences among the people (Muslims).
 They will recite Qur’an, but they will not understand it
 They will be immature in thoughts and young in age. But they will talk as they are the
best among all the mankind.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
The establishment of ISIS in Iraq and Syria occurred in four stages:
•Stage one (2004-2006) — the establishment of the branch of Al-Qaeda in Iraq led by Abu Musab
al-Zarqawi.
•Stage Two (2006-2011) — Establishment of the Islamic State in Iraq (ISI): ISI served as an
umbrella network for several jihadi organizations that continued waging a terrorist-guerilla
campaign against the United States.
•Stage Three (2012-June 2014) — the strengthening of ISI and the founding of ISIS: After the
American army withdrew from Iraq ISI became stronger.
•Stage four (as of June 2014) — Dramatic ISIS military achievements: The most prominent was
the takeover of Mosul, the second largest city in Iraq. At the same time ISIS established its
control in eastern Syria where it set up a governmental center (its “capital city”) in Al-Raqqah.
Funding And Weapons
 How much does it earn from oil?
Isis-controlled territory produces up to 60,000 barrels per day, netting the
daesh an estimated £1m every 24 hours, according to an estimate by IHS, an
energy research consultancy.
 How much does it make from its wealthy donors?
It has raised around $40 million from such channels in the past two years,
according to an estimate published in Newsweek
 How much does Isis make from ransom payments for
hostages?
It generated at least $20m in ransom payments in 2014,
according to the US Treasury.
 What sort of taxes are levied in the isis?
Religious minorities, such as Christians, are forced to
pay a special tax, convert to Islam, or leave.
 What is the isis annual income?
It is reckoned to raise $2bn per year from the sale of
oil, tolls and taxes.
Weapons
Based on various reports, CNBC came up with the
following laundry list of supplies the U.S. has so kindly
provided to ISIS so far.
 2,300 Humvee armored vehicles at $70,000 each: $16
million
 40 M1A1 Abram tanks at $4.3 million each: $172 million
 52 M198 Howitzer mobile gun systems at $527,337 each:
$2.7 million
 74,000 Army machine guns at $4,000 each: $29 million
 TOTAL: $219.7 MILLION in military weapons, vehicles,
and other supplies and gear for ISIS.
Fight Against ISIS
 US & Its Allies
US & Its Partners targeted ISIS with 8216 Air Strikes
(5,383 In Iraq)
(2,833 In Syria)
 US has 150+ Fighter Planes in warzone against ISIS
 France has 36
 Russia has 34
 Australia has 8
 Canada has 6
How ISIS Humiliate the Humanity
ISIS Use to kill Innocent People by means of Beheading
them, Execution by burning them & Mass Summary.
 ISIS Members force women to sexual slavery, Forced
Marriages & Acid attacks on them
ISIS People kidnap Children & Beat them harshly while they
train some who join there community when they become
adult.
They do this to create fear.
ISIS Atrocities
ISIS brutalities are of sky’s limit and the worst part is that they are doing their
so called Jahad on the name of Islam completely destroying the true essence
of Islam.
 ISIS has "emphasized a narrow and selective reading of the Quran and other
religious rulings to not only justify violence, but also to elevate and
celebrate each sexual assault as spiritually beneficial, even virtuous.“
 ISIS justifies its mistreatment of women, saying it is permissible under early
Islamic law to capture and forcibly make "heretical" women sexual slaves.
 According to a released report recently that ISIS is now encouraging children
to play soccer—using severed human heads as soccer balls.
 Children are also encouraged to watch public executions, including
beheadings.
So these khawarjis and their influences are growing like fire in forest and this is
about what Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) warned us and advised us to kill them
as we see them so that they may not get stronger. So the Muslims with true
spirit of Islam are fighting against these Hell Fire Dogs and sooner or later In
Shaa Allah they all will be send to their destines i.e Hell.
