Because without any knowledge of Management information system or Information technology we cannot get a valuable conclusion. So first we discuss about- what is MIS, it’s structure etc. and secondly we discuss about the Information technology, after that we get the conclusion that “how MIS and IT is dependable to each other’

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a challenging field of study focused on integrating computer-based information technology solutions and business processes to meet the information needs of businesses and other enterprises.
- 6. IMPORTANT OF ‘MIS’ Organization’s have multiple functional systems. These usually include sales, call center, financial, inventory, logistic system and more. Management information system help the manager to take the appropriate action in according to these functional system. To control the creation and growth of records. To reduce operating costs. To improve efficiency and productivity

MIS is basically known as study of people, technology and organization. MIS Systems needs to record all the data about an organization. Without management information system we cannot measure the risk of an organization. IT helps the MIS in many way, in earlier days when we don’t have computer then it’s not easy for the manager to kept the data, because there are so many risk to kept data in paper.
- 10. Because of computers or other equipment of IT nowadays we can save and storage our information speedily, and risk is also low to destroy the information. Also the other equipment of IT like internet, mobile, helps the manager to collecting the data speedily. So because of IT, management information system can run in a smooth way. So we can say that MIS and IT both has their own independent area, but both are dependent on each other.
- 11. Conclusion From the whole discussion now we can say that MIS and IT independent in their purpose, but both are dependent on each other. Nowadays Information technology and Management information system both are important aspect for an organization.
