- 1. Commercial Manager (Surabaya) PT TPIL Logistics Subsidary of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Basic Requirement: 1. An experienced Freight Forwarding Manager with proven Operational and Commercial success in previous employment with a reputable Freight Forwarding business. 2. At least 7 years of Sea, Air and Road freight operations experience. 3. Strong commercial ability, able to identify opportunities and propose competitive services accordingly 4. Able to manage all financial & budgetary issues professionally 5. Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills 6. Proficient computer skills 7. Able to conceptualise and then deliver new Freight and Transport products & services will be an advantage. Role & Responsibility: 1. Proactively manage daily Freight Forwarding activities of the company to include all sea, air, road and warehousing operations. 2. Lead and direct all Sales and Business Development in line with the company strategy. 3. Actively develop client relationships at a senior level and be responsible for delivering services that meet the market requirements and offering smart solutions to secure new business. 4. Provide leadership, guidance and support to the team; train and motivate staff; develop appropriate succession plans. 5. Manage all Divisional resources to ensure optimum utilization.
