This document discusses the modeling and analysis of a two-wheeler connecting rod using ANSYS software, focusing on its design and stress analysis in a single cylinder 4-stroke petrol engine. A finite element analysis was conducted on the connecting rod, revealing that the maximum von-Mises stress occurs at the piston end, and the results indicated that the stresses are within the allowable limits for safe design. The study highlights the importance of the connecting rod's durability and performance due to the complex loading conditions it experiences.
